We’re celebrating 90 years with Mickey Mouse at the parks of Walt Disney World this weekend, and what that means is lots, and lots, and lots of cake! Animal Kingdom Lodge’s quick service spot The Mara (home of our beloved Peanut Butter Brownie) is joining the party is a Happy Birthday Mickey Gateau that is way more than just a cake.
You love beignets? You love burgers? This might be right up your alley!
Debuting today at Port Orleans French Quarter’s Sassagoula Floatworks food court in Disney World is a sweet-meets-savory entree that seems like the perfect combo: the Beignet Burger.
SURPRISE! Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill in Disney Springs may be soft opening sooner than anticipated.
Steamboat Willie was released on November 18, 1928 introducing the world to Mickey Mouse 90 years ago! All the Parks and many resorts are celebrating Mickey’s Big 90th Birthday this weekend with special eats. We headed to Boardwalk Bakery to try their special Steamboat Willie Heritage Mickey dessert to honor Mickey’s debut!
This dessert is black and white — just like the short film Steamboat Willie — and so darned cute!
Happy Holidays from the Grand Californian at Disneyland Resort, where the gorgeous and festive gingerbread house stands tall and where guests can pick up loads of Holiday Treats in the lobby!
The pastry chefs at the Grand Californian aren’t messing around with their holiday offerings; the list of treats is small but mighty! You’ll find classic gingerbread alongside whoopie pies and truffles. Yup: there’s something for everyone!
Treats, treats, everywhere! We’re loving the epic food crawls we’re embarking upon on BOTH coasts, with Disneyland, California Adventure Park, and Walt Disney World packed from kiosk to food booth and from counter service to table service with seasonal bites and beverages.
Need help keeping track of the treats? We’ve got handy DFB-exclusive snack checklists for Disneyland and Walt Disney World!
And because it’s Disney, you know some krispy treats had to get in on the action! At Disneyland, we found these aaa-dorable Minnie and Mickey krispies decorated to resemble sweet gingerbread cookies.
Disneyland Resort is going all-in for holiday eats and drinks, and that extends beyond kiosks, snacks, and quick service. In fact, table service restaurants and lounges are also feeling the holiday spirit — and in this case, that means spirits for us!
Carthay Circle Restaurant and 1901 Lounge (exclusive lounge for Club 33 members) are offering The Sleigh Ride, a perfectly nice drink that comes with a totally killer accessory: a Mickey Snowflake Glowcube!
It’s no secret that Cafe Orleans is one of our favorite places to dine in all of Disneyland. That’s due both to its cool history in the park and iconic dishes. You can take a full tour to learn why we love it so much here.
But our purpose today? To sample the specialty holiday items on the menu for the Holidays at Disneyland Resort! [Read more…]
