REVIEW: “It Was Divine.” Three New Caramel Desserts Have Hit EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion, and You’re Going to Love Them

If you’ve ever been walking through the World Showcase and have been hit with the most delicious smell, you might be walking through the Germany Pavilion by Karamell-Küche. This caramel shop features Werther’s Original Caramel and is home to some of our favorite EPCOT snacks.

Get ready to dive in!

Karamell-Küche just dropped three new treats, and even with hundreds of snacks sitting at EPCOT for the Food & Wine Festival, we might still be sneaking into the Germany Pavilion for these treats.

First, we had the Bananas Foster Caramel for $5.79. This is a Werther’s Original Banana-flavored Caramel Square with Banana Chip and toasted Brown Sugar.

This was a true representation of its name! It definitely tasted like Bananas Foster, and it reminded us more of fudge. It’s going to sit in your mouth for a minute as you chew through it, so you can just enjoy the flavor. The banana chip on top was crispy, but as soon as you bit in, you got that fresh banana flavor. Our teeth hurt from the sweetness, but we would get this again.

Then we had the Caramel Gourmet Pretzel for $5.29. This Crunchy Pretzel is covered in Werther’s Original Caramel, Apple Oat Topping, and White Chocolate Drizzle.

The pretzel was so gooey, especially after sitting in the sun for a minute. The pretzel was crunchy and a bit tougher to cut, and though it is tiny, it is mighty in flavor. It was divine! We loved the white chocolate drizzle on top, and we wish it came in a baggie so we could always have one with us.

Finally, we tried the Caramel Pumpkin Butter Bar for $5.29, which is Pumpkin Slices, and Pumpkin-favored Werther’s Original Caramel layered into Butter Shortbread.

This was our favorite!

We think this was our personal favorite of all three! There was a crunchy and buttery bottom, and it felt like eating pie crust with a pumpkin pie cinnamon filling. We’re so glad the cinnamon was there to bring in a different flavor beyond pumpkin, and this is truly the representation of fall.
