We’ve been discovering so many new goodies throughout Epcot today! First, we stumbled across the new Coral Minnie Ears before making our way to France where we spotted a new sign for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!
And after ducking into Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie for a quick bite, we just discovered a new item on their menu — and this is where we warn you we hope you’re sitting down!
If you’ve been keeping up with our eating habits over the last decade or so, you know we’ve developed quite the fondness for cheese. Throw some carbs into the mix, and consider us EVEN more obsessed!
That’s why when we noticed this new Creme de Brie offering at Les Halles today, we were trying not to hyperventilate with excitement as we placed our order!
Our French might be a little rusty, but Creme de Brie sure sounds like a tasty treat to a couple of cheeseatarians such as ourselves! And better yet, this warm, creamy cheese is served in a freshly baked bread bowl! It’s like the Brie Bread Bowl that you could find at L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise Food Studio during Festival of the Arts this year.
If you suspect the Creme de Brie might be one of the most delicious snacks you’ve ever seen, allow us to confirm ALL your melty, cheesy dreams and wishes! The warm cheese isn’t soupy, but it’s also not as thick as straight-up melted brie. It is, however, one seriously satisfying carb fest! We want to pause for a moment of silence in recognition of this much CHEESE awesomeness!
Due to its size and the sheer amount of willpower you’ll have to muster to polish off the Creme de Brie by yourself, we suggest enlisting the aid of a friend! We don’t suspect you’ll have a hard time finding volunteers to help you in this cheesy endeavor, though!
You’ll find the Creme de Brie on the regular menu at Les Halles for $6.75, and we highly recommend you stop what you’re doing RIGHT NOW and get over there!
Now if you’ll excuse us, we have to slip into something a little more cheesy from our 31 things to eat at Disney World if you’re cheese-obsessed list!
Oh boy, planning a Disney trip can be quite the adventure, and we totally get it! Is this like the brie and bread bowl
that was offered during Festival if the Arts this year?
Is that the same brie bread that was at Festival of the Arts (without the stamp on the top of the bread)?
Charlene, I was thinking the same. We had that at the Festival of the Arts and it was wonderful. If I remember correctly, that is about the same price we paid at the Festival.
