We have a fun treat for you at the China Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase!
Let’s face it: Disney World is hot. With the exception of a few weeks out of the year, you’re going to be craving a refreshing drink as a mid-day treat. And Epcot’s Joy of Tea has just the thing for you!
We’re big fans of this snack stop. For such a tiny booth, it has a pretty extensive menu! The egg rolls and curry chicken pockets are tasty little snacks that will hold you over until your next meal while you explore the World Showcase.
And, most importantly, they have a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (including the fan favorite Tipsy Ducks in Love!).
Today, we’ll check out the Bubble Milk Tea!
The tea is a peach-flavored black tea with milk and tapioca pearls swirling around the bottom. It’s so pretty!
It is pre-sweetened, which could be a huge no-no for some of you; but in my opinion, it wasn’t too super sweet. The peach was definitely the most obvious flavor – you could even say that it overpowered the tea taste a little!
I was really pleased by the amount of pearls in here. As you can see, they fill up a good portion of the cup!
Overall
I think it’s a great option to cool off, relax and enjoy the surrounding beauty at Epcot. The price tag is a little steep at $6.50 compared to other drinks, but the pearls and milk make it a filling drink that doubles as a snack! If you like tea lattes, I’m confident you will like this one!

Blech! I hate bubble tea! If you like tapioca, it would probably be your thing. For me, I can’t get past hard tapioca coming up the same straw as liquid. For bubble tea (at least in Philadelphia), the price is pretty on point.
On a lighter note, if they do a “popping bubbles” tea, that would be awesome, but I won’t get my hopes up. (That’s a small layer of tapioca around liquid of a different tea flavor bubble in a flavored iced or hot tea…super awesome).

McRigs — We’ve seen both at special events like the Epcot Food & Wine and Flower & Festivals. I agree — the popping bubbles are great! You’ll also find popping boba tea at Morimoto Asia Street Food.

That is some VERY expensive bubble tea. I live in Philly like the previous commenter and it typically costs $3.50 here. There’s nothing special or expensive in there.

Erica, what tea place do you go to? I go to Tea-Do (which is the best) and two large will be close to 11

Do they offer dairy-free milk alternatives at that spot? In general, would you say the cafes at Disney carry dairy free milks like oat milk, coconut milk, etc.?
