The holidays have officially begun in Disney World and Hollywood Studios is looking quite festive!
The Christmas tree is up, the red and silver stars are lining Sunset Boulevard, and garland is practically everywhere. There was one holiday attraction missing from the park, however…until NOW!
It’s here! It’s here! It’s FINALLY HERE! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is BACK in Disney World, and we’re at the party on the very first night to check everything out!
The party hasn’t happened at Disney World since 2019, with it being canceled in 2020 due to the global pandemic and replaced with Disney Very Merriest After Hours in 2021. Now, it’s finally back, and there is a TON to do! From food to entertainment to merchandise, there’s a lot to check out. So, let’s jump right in! Follow along as we go to the first Christmas Party of this year.
What are you looking forward to this holiday season in Disney World?
Maybe it’s the giant gingerbread displays, the snoap, or the festive treats, but no matter what it is that you’re looking forward to, there’s a LOT to do this year during the holidays! A staple of the holiday season is meeting and getting pictures with Jolly Old Saint Nicholas (AKA Santa!) and we’ve got more details on how you can meet him without a park ticket!
Disney+ is about to deliver some SERIOUS nostalgia. If you thought Hocus Pocus 2 was delightful, wait till you hear about this.
Disney is taking us back to the North Pole in the new Disney+ series, The Santa Clauses, which revisits many characters from The Santa Clause film series with a brand new story. We’ve already seen a teaser trailer but now Disney has officially released a NEW trailer and some details!

We hope so, because Santa Claus is watching! He’s making his list, checking it twice, and preparing for the big event — Christmas. But he’s not the only one getting ready for Christmas…Disney World is too! Of course, they’re gearing up for the upcoming Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays. But that’s not all — they also have a year-round offering that prepares guests for Christmas!
Yes, we’re celebrating the holidays in June. Don’t ask questions, just go with it. 😂
Disney is celebrating Halfway to the Holidays this week, which means we’re about 6 months away from this year’s holiday season! Some of the celebrations include themed treats in the parks and BIG announcements about what’s coming to Disney World in November and December this year. We’ve already learned that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is returning!
