So while we tend to run around the parks during the day in casual, comfy clothes, what do you wear out to dinner in Disney World’s fine dining restaurants? And is there a dress code in restaurants like Jiko?

When Disney started buying land in Florida in 1964, the population of the nearest city — Orlando — was about 240,000 people. Today, Orlando’s population is more than 2 million, and with the hundreds of hotels, theme parks, shopping destinations, restaurants, and other tourist destinations that have sprung up in the 5+ decades since Disney World opened, it’s not hard to see that “one man’s dream” was responsible for much of that growth.
Great meals make great memories. We all have a favorite family meal that we fondly remember being served at the family reunion, or for your childhood birthdays, or as a weekly Sunday supper. And many of us have memories of a wonderfully indulgent meal we had on vacation.
