But there have also been some other fun additions to Tokyo Disneyland, too, including several new attractions!
Just about everybody and their Uncle is obsessed with EPCOT’s new pylons right now!
In case you’ve slept on the EPCOT news the week, three clear acrylic pylons were recently installed in front of Spaceship Earth as part of a new entryway fountain for World Celebration — one of three new distinct neighborhoods Future World is being divvied up into.
Welp, it’s that time of year. Time for Yule Logs and fireplaces, coziness and relaxation, family and friends and fun.
Yep! We found some folks who made watching the fire in the fireplace just a leeeeetle bit better this year, and I wanted to share!

I can’t wait to eat there!! What do you think will be on the menu?
In a great video by Disney Parks Blog, we get to see a little bit of the Imagineering that’s going into the most anticipated restaurant in the Disney World Fantasyland expansion — Be Our Guest Restaurant!
According to Disney Parks Blog, “Imagineers recently put the finishing touches on one of its major elements: a massive mural that will serve as the restaurant’s backdrop. Here, Ted shows how WDI combined digital technology with traditional artistry to create a sweeping landscape that gives guests the feeling that they really are walking into a part of the film.”
Disney World’s Be Our Guest Restaurant is scheduled to open in “Late 2012.” While we currently don’t know when reservations will be available, we do know a few great secrets about the restaurant — like what [Read more…]

I spent a whirlwind hour or so at the Grand Floridian’s gorgeous Gingerbread House this weekend, and I can’t wait to share the highlights with you!
Free Gingerbread Decorating Demonstration
Free stuff alert! At Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort you can attend a free gingerbread house decorating demonstration Monday through Saturday at 1:00pm! Just head over to the giant gingerbread house at 1 o’clock, and you’ll encounter one of the nicest pastry chefs I’ve ever met directing folks on how to make gingerbread houses similar to those sold at Disney World during the holiday season.
I learned some great techniques about how to keep your gingerbread house roof from caving in, how to put icicles on the house so that they don’t break off, and even how to keep ants from invading your house!
All Around the House
After the presentation, I scoped out the decorations on this year’s massive [Read more…]
