The holidays have officially arrived at Disney Springs! The Christmas trees are up, holiday treats have arrived, and the nightly “snoapfall” has returned. The holidays are so magical at Disney World, and Disney Springs is celebrating the holidays big time. There is so much to do, and the best part is that you don’t even need a park ticket to take part in the festivities at Disney Springs.
We had the chance to get a sneak peek at some of the holiday festivities and officially kick the holiday season off at Disney Springs. Let’s go!
There is A LOT happening at Disney Springs to celebrate the holidays! We had the opportunity to kick off the holiday season at Disney Springs with a special Christmas tree lighting. The ceremony kicked off with a performance by the Holiday Brass Band, which you can catch daily in Disney Springs during the holidays (at 6 PM, 7 PM, 8 PM, and 9 PM).
Then a family was brought onstage to help light up the gorgeous tree in Town Center. In Disney fashion, the tree is lit with pixie dust, which is blown onto it to light it up and welcome the holiday season. Of course, there was also plenty of snoap falling too!
You can also see this beautiful tree all lit up and catch snoap falling in Disney Springs! The nightly snowfall occurs every half hour, beginning at sundown, near the Town Center tree. The Town Center tree isn’t the only Christmas tree you will find in Disney Springs, though! The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is also back this year. You can grab a complimentary map and find the 19 themed trees located throughout Disney Springs.
Match the stickers on the map to the corresponding trees, and then return your map to a redemption location for a special surprise! You will find all sorts of themes, including Encanto, Coco, Toy Story, Star Wars, and more. It is a free activity that we always love doing during the holiday season. While you are finding trees, you can also do some shopping and dining.
But that is not all! You can also find tons of themed goodies all across Disney Springs, including special bites and sips at Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Hangar Bar. We were able to try a sampling of these items during the kickoff celebration, but you can also check out our full review of the new menu items.
Plus, Jock Lindsey’s is also decorated for the holidays! It’s hard to beat festive eats and drinks with gorgeous holiday decor.
There is also plenty of daily holiday entertainment, including Douglas Fir, DJ Sleigh, Toy Soldier Drummers, Seasonal Skaters, and Icicle and Toy Soldier Stilt Walkers. You can also stop by to meet Santa Claus near Disney’s Pin Traders. Make sure to join the virtual queue if you want to meet Santa!
We are feeling so festive after the celebration and are so excited for all the holiday festivities at Disney Springs! Make sure to stay tuned to DFB for all your Disney World tips, tricks, and news.

We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Today, we were invited by Disney World to attend their Walt Disney World Holiday Kickoff Celebration.
