Disney World is FULL of construction right now, that’s for sure, but it’s looking like one of these projects may be reaching completion.

Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Harambe Market closed on October 20th for a months-long refurbishment, and at the time, there was no reopening timeline in sight. Now, that may have changed. Nothing has been announced officially, but according to the Disney World website, it’s looking like this spot could be reopening in March!
Animal Kingdom is home to tons of our favorite eats in Disney World. In fact, there are so many great spots and options, it’s sometimes hard for us to choose what to eat when we visit!
Who’s ready for a new snack?
With that being said, when we hear that there’s a new snack or meal in the park, we say YES PLEASE and head straight there, because we almost always have high hopes. Over at Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes (not to be confused with the Yak and Yeti table service restaurant!), there’s a new entree available that caught our eye, and after trying it, the first thing that comes to mind is that you’ll want to be ready to share!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom almost never lets us down when it comes to snacks, and so when we saw a new snack was coming to The Smiling Crocodile, we REALLY hoped we wouldn’t be disappointed.

Arepas were just added to the menu over here, but they’re only served for FOUR HOURS each day. You know what we have to say to that? Well, after trying these, we say that that’s NOT ENOUGH, Disney!
Disney just dropped some exciting news about the new Tropical Americas — Pueblo Esperanza land coming to Animal Kingdom in a few years!

This is the new area of the park that’s replacing DinoLand U.S.A., so while we’re certainly sad to see such an iconic part of the park go, we’re also looking forward to what’s new. We now know that The Boneyard will be closing on September 2nd, 2025 and Disney assured us that a new play area will be coming to Pueblo Esperanza. However, there is another smaller detail of this land that nobody is talking about enough– the new dining location coming to Pueblo Esperanza sounds like it’s going to be MASSIVE.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to some pretty fantastic snacks and meals, and you don’t have to look very far to find them.

A lot of our favorite restaurants and snacks are located in Animal Kingdom, which means that sometimes it’s hard for us to decide where we want to eat! However, a new sandwich dropped at Restaurantosaurus recently so we knew we had to try it out, and we were NOT disappointed!

It’s normal for menus in Disney World to change often, because almost EVERYTHING changes on the daily. But recently, Disney has been CHANGING some of our favorite snacks — the blueberry Mickey waffles in Hollywood Studios, the waffles at Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom, BUT NOW our favorite corn has changed, too!
We’ve been to every single restaurant inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom multiple times, and we know where the BEST places to eat are. But we also know some of the WORST spots.

Magic Kingdom
The issue is, not all Disney World restaurants are created equal, so it’s possible you may not have a great meal when there could have been a new meal a few minutes away. That’s why we’re here — to help you decide where to eat (among many other things). However, there’s one restaurant in each of the Disney parks that can usually please everyone.
