Disney World is FULL of construction right now, that’s for sure, but it’s looking like one of these projects may be reaching completion.
Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Harambe Market closed on October 20th for a months-long refurbishment, and at the time, there was no reopening timeline in sight. Now, that may have changed. Nothing has been announced officially, but according to the Disney World website, it’s looking like this spot could be reopening in March!
When Harambe Market closed, the only thing we knew was that it was set to reopen in “early 2026.” Now that it is 2026, Disney hasn’t announced anything officially, but we took a look at their page on the Disney World website and noticed that hours are showing starting March 1st!
At this time, the menu page also isn’t available, which could mean that it’s being redone if this area is expected to offer new dining options. By the time it reopens (if what’s listed here is correct), DinoLand, U.S.A. will have been closed for just about a month, meaning that all dining locations over in that area of the park will no longer be available for that same amount of time. Will we see some of the dining options we’re used to getting in DinoLand head over to Harambe Market? We’ll have to see!
We’re really looking forward to this spot being back open, no matter what’s on the menu (though we would love some incredible options to be available — Animal Kingdom usually nails it in the food category), and we’ll be sure to keep a close eye on it all.
