Although Christmas has come and gone, we’re still finding new holiday treats to try at Disney World — although we’ve mostly already eaten them all!
If you’re in Disney World this week, there’s so much holiday fun to experience!
You can head on over to EPCOT for the Festival of the Holidays, hang out in Magic Kingdom to watch the festive cavalcades (they have them in all four parks, but Magic Kingdom’s are especially fun), or you can stroll through Disney Springs to check out the Christmas Tree Stroll and the delicious snacks. And, if you’re looking for a way to have a traditional Christmas dinner on a budget, we’ve got you covered with an exclusive meal at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!
One of the Holiday Kitchens that we really enjoyed this year is Holiday Hearth, set up inside the World Showplace. This booth is home to a variety of festive desserts, including one that we enjoyed more than we expected to — the Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie (which you can get the recipe for here). Now, the Spaceship Earth Cookie has received a holiday makeover and we don’t really know how to feel about it… .
The holidays are HERE and that means we’re eating ALL the festive snacks!
So far, we’ve indulged in some holiday cupcakes, holiday fudge, holiday drinks, and more! There’s one holiday flavor we really haven’t had a lot of yet though, and that’s cherry (although we did have a cherry sundae earlier this month). So, today we happily made our way over to one spot in Disney Springs to check out the NEW Cherry Jubilee Bubble Waffle to see if it could become a new holiday favorite.
But some of our favorite treats have involved peppermint, because peppermint is the flavor of the holidays! So we’ve been eating peppermint churros and chocolate peppermint bark, while drinking peppermint chocolate beer and a peppermint kiss drink.
