This bakery is connected to The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant on Disney’s BoardWalk, and it’s home to some massive (and fairly pricey) treats. We have loved most of the things we have tried here, and now it’s time to review three more treats!

Edna Mode Petit Cake
Well, one of our favorite snack spots in Disney Springs is Amorette’s Patisserie, and we’re especially fond of their little themed petit cakes because not only do they always look AMAZING, but they’re often pretty tasty, too. Well, a new petit cake just arrived at the patisserie, and we made sure we checked it out.

Everything from character meals to pool bars to snack stands to signature dining was on our review list, and we had some incredibly memorable experiences eating our way around Disney World. But along the way, we also learned some important tips and lessons — today we’re here to share them with you!
We’ll never say “no” to dessert in Disney World, whether that be having a classic Mickey ice cream bar, indulging in a massive cookie, imbibing an over-the-top donut, or some other sweet treat. But there’s just something about cake that always makes us smile (and we eat a lot of cake in a lot of different forms).

Let’s talk about something we absolutely love: cake. We love cake in all kinds of shapes, configurations, and flavors. We love cupcakes, and we love cake pops, cake bars, and we love cake slices.

Now, there are several places in Disney World where you can grab some really good cake slices, but there’s one bakery we keep going back to again and again because it has those kinds of cake slices that make you feel like you’re celebrating a special occasion even when you’re not. So yep, we’re back at The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers to try a new cake slice flavor.
We spotted something NEW at Disney Springs — and it could be hinting that a big announcement might be coming soon! We have been keeping an eye on the storefront that used to house The Art of Shaving store in Disney Springs. The store permanently closed on January 2nd, 2024, and we have been keeping an eye out for a replacement.

Well, something is finally happening!! The storefront just got some new art installed in the windows, and we are seeing some similarities in the new window art. You can find the storefront in the Landing, near STK, OluKai, and The Ganachery. We already had some hints about what might be coming to this space, but we think this is further confirmation.
We’ve been eating a lot of holiday treats in Disney World, including treats at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. That means we’ve tried a lot of peppermint-flavored things at this point.

However, we just had a slice of cake at The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers at Disney’s BoardWalk that blows away all its peppermint-flavored competition, so let’s talk about it.
