Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs
One popular snack stand at Downtown Disney in Disneyland is headed to Disney World. But now we just got some sad news about when it will be opening!
If you’re a Disney fan who just can’t seem to resist some good ol’ classic theme park food, you’re in luck.
Disney’s BoardWalk
We found out over the summer that Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs would soon make its way to Disney World, after being a hit for YEARS over at Downtown Disney in Disneyland. The spot specializes in hand-dipped, specialty, and gourmet corn dogs, and in Disneyland, we’ve had ones like the Christmas Corn Dog, The Mexican Street Corn Dog, and even the Golden Dragon Corn Dog!. Disney World’s own corn dog stand will be located over by Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, and we were previously told that we could expect the opening to happen in November. Well, November is here, and now we’re checking for updates!
Over at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, there have been A LOT of changes in the past year or so.

Disney announced that the hotel’s rooms, lobby, and some restaurants were going to be seeing updates. We’re now over a year into the remodel process and we thought you might like to see how things are moving along. So let’s take a look at what’s finished and what is still a work in progress at the BoardWalk Inn.

Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs already operates a kiosk in Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District and it is home to the controversial PICKLE corn dog (among other unique creations!). But soon this corn dog paradise will be making its way to Disney World and we’ve got some updates!
We hate to say it, but Disney doesn’t always keep their promises.

Frequently — and especially over the last few years — they’ll announce an opening timeline for a new attraction, restaurant, or hotel refurbishment, but that date keeps getting pushed back further and further. We understand that some things are largely out of their control; for example, many projects were paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and lots of construction work was likely delayed due to widespread global supply chain issues. So here’s the big question: Will Disney actually finish all the projects it has promised for 2023?
