We know, it’s a bit confusing! Disney likes to celebrate holidays early, with the Halloween season starting in August usually. But, they actually release some fun and festive items WAY before then. Disney celebrates Halfway to Halloween with some spooky treats, and we just found out what will be available in the parks soon! [Read more…]
Halloween may be only a few days away, and Christmas is already creeping into Disney World, but that isn’t stopping Everglazed Donuts in Disney Springs from coming through with a last-minute addition to the pumpkin treat family!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is home to so many great food stops.
From ‘Ohana, to Dole Whip at Pineapple Lanai, there’s a food option for everyone. Capt. Cook’s is another great stop for counter service, and today we made our way there to try a new Halloween treat in the form of a push pop!
It’s HALLOWEEN in Disney World, people!!!

Halloween merchandise has arrived in Magic Kingdom, Main Street, U.S.A. is filled with festive pumpkins, and BOO Bash starts tonight!! Yesterday, we got the FULL list of Halloween eats that will be around Disney World this season, and many of the treats came out TODAY, including a bewitching dessert over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Happy Halloween from Disney World!
We know what you’re thinking, “but it’s only August?!” and you’re right, but, the spooky festivities start early in Disney World! Halloween season is a monster’s time to shine!
As Disney fans, the first monsters we think of aren’t vampires or werewolves — it’s our buddies from Monsters, Inc.! And, in honor of the upcoming holiday, Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is serving up a seasonal dessert that’s scary cute!
CONFIRMED 9-11-20: Disney contacted us to let us know that these guys are, in fact, $6.50 each, and the issue at the register was an anomaly! Phew! $6.50 is still a little insane for a churro — not gonna lie — but at least you get that dipping sauce…AND bonus orange and black spooky sugar! ;-D
As far as iconic Disney snacks go, we’d say churros are definitely up there!
And much like some of our other Disney World favorites like popcorn buckets and cupcakes, churros have also recently received a Halloween makeover! But the festive sugar coating on the new Black and Orange Churros wasn’t the only spooky thing about this treat!
