Bottoms up! Tequila fans and purveyors of a good time will find La Cava del Tequila completely enchanting.

A rich and warm atmosphere decorated authentically, over 200 tequilas and unique margaritas, as well as a few appetizing ‘tapas style’ snacks (ask about the Chips & Queso!), will draw you into the cavernous bar tucked inside EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion and lure you to stay for another round.

There is limited seating in this cozy cave; however, you can get your drinks to go if you’re unable to secure a table. There is pretty much ALWAYS a long line extending into the indoor Mexico pavilion for this beloved bar, but since a visit to La Cava is practically a rite of passage for of-age guests in EPCOT, you may as well join in!

Visit this watering hole in Mexico if…

You’re looking for some of the best margaritas and tequila-based drinks in EPCOT. A rich and warm atmosphere decorated authentically, over 200 tequilas and unique margaritas, as well as a few appetizing ‘tapas style’ snacks await you in this tequila cave.

You want a cozy place to take a break away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the park. La Cava features a walk-up bar for to-go drinks, but you can also opt to wait for a table to enjoy your drinks and appetizers in the cozy atmosphere.

You’re after one of the classic “Drink Around the World” beverages. This spot is home to the famous Avocado Margarita that the Mexico Pavilion is known for — and for good reason! Tequila drinkers will have no problem finding something they enjoy here.

Skip La Cava if…

You’re not a fan of tequila or alcohol in general. Other than a Mexican draft beer, all the drinks here are made with tequila or mezcal — so if you’re not a fan, you’ll likely want to find drinks in one of the other World Showcase pavilions.

You don’t want to wait in a long line. La Cava is POPULAR! There is pretty much ALWAYS a long line extending into the indoor Mexico pavilion for this beloved bar, but it often moves relatively quickly — and if you ask us, the drinks are worth it!

You’re looking for a substantial meal. You can typically find chips, queso, salsa, and guacamole here, along with the occasional seasonal snack, but this isn’t a spot to get a full meal. Consider booking a table at San Angel Inn located in the Mexico pyramid, or grabbing a quick bite at La Cantina de San Angel outside.
