Jaleo opened just a few weeks ago, and the Spanish-inspired menu has everybody excited! Tapas? Paella? Sangria? Please, yes! But several of our readers have been wondering how the Disney Dining Plan will work at a restaurant known for its small plates. DFB has the details!
Here’s EVERYTHING you need to know about DDP at Jaleo!
First, Jaleo requires two Disney Dining Plan table credits on both the basic and the deluxe plans. That makes Jaleo a signature restaurant. Both basic and deluxe plans allow for one alcoholic beverages per 21+ diner. Alcoholic beverages allowed are beer, wine, or cocktails priced $25 and under. Non-alcoholic drinks for adults include unlimited Teatulia Iced Tea or one can or bottle of soda.
Entrees get a bit more complicated. On the basic DDP, diners can select two regular tapas OR one plated dish OR one tapa “intended to serve two” OR one plated paella.
Diners using the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan can select one of the options offered on the basic DDP PLUS one additional tapas.
Diners on both the basic and the Deluxe DDP select one dessert.
Kids using Disney Dining Plan (both basic and Deluxe) select one tapas from the kids’ menu, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages (minus bottled beverages and specialty coffee), and a dessert.
Of course, as with anything at Walt Disney World, this info is subject to change. But in the meantime, enjoy your tapas, Disney food friends!
