Here’s a bit of news for ya — there are about to be some changes coming up with Disney-branded, pre-packaged snacks and we have a sneak peek for you today at one of the new varieties!
The parks and resorts will soon start selling a Disney-branded allergy friendly line of snacks!
The new line will include Chocolate Chip Crunchy Cookies, Sugar Crisp Crunchy Cookies, and Mountain Mambo Seed & Fruit Mix. The allergy friendly snacks will be billed “Snacks with Character,” and each will feature a well-known Disney character. No exact date yet on when these will be officially released, but let’s check out the Chocolate Chip Crunchy Cookies!
You can see that these are Disney-branded, but are produced by the Enjoy Life company, who has been selling allergy friendly goodies to Disney parks and resorts for years. So these cookies will likely not be all that new to families who have been buying the Enjoy Life brand on their prior trips to Disney parks.
The packaging prominently lists ingredients not included: Gluten, Nut, Dairy, Soy and GMO.
The package includes 2 cookies for $2.76. The cookies themselves are slightly larger than a typical pre-packaged cookie that you would find in a grocery store.
They are a thinner cookie and are super crunchy.
If you’re a fan of crunchy cookies, these will fit the bill. They taste great and are a good choice for a sweet treat for those dining with food allergies.
These also offer a fresh flavor for being a pre-packaged snack.
Overall I’m excited to see this new snack option for guests and looking forward to other varieties on their way. But what I think is especially exciting about these is that kids who have food allergies will now be able to indulge in a Disney-branded suitable snack. What’s the big deal? Well, when you’re a kid and all you want is those amazing-looking treats that have Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and all the other Disney characters on the packaging, but you have to settle for a generic-looking substitute while your brother/sister/friend gets the Disney character snacks…well, that kind of stinks.
Now, with Disney-branding on these allergy-friendly treats, even kids with allergies will be able to have that true Disney magical experience of eating yummy food with a Mickey on the bag. It’s the little things.
Will you be trying the new Snacks with Character Allergy Friendly items? What other allergy friendly snack options would you like to see at Disney World?

I have no allergies, but would sample them out of curiosity. It’s like you said though, it’s great for kids who want a Mickey or Donald treat like the rest of the family.

I would try them all. Because i am lactose intolerant and allergic to fish. I’m so happy to see more and more places accomodate for people with allergies and intolerances. I do buy enjoy life products now so I am positive these snacks are yummy! !

I just saw these available for sale today at Hollywood Studios!

My sister is allergic to pretty much everything – she can eat Enjoy Life products, but I wish that there were more options than just pre-packaged cookies. So many things have eggs, dairy, nuts, and soy in them – it’s just not fair to people with allergies, especially if they are traveling with people that don’t jave allergies and can and most probably will eat things that they can’t have in front of them.

Does the serving per package say 7 or 2 or 1? And 130 calories per serving.

Enjoy life makes tasty stuff. My daughter has never felt as if she was missing out when we got her these chocolate chip cookies in WDW.

I also was looking at the serving size. It looks like it says 7 servings? In a pack of 2 smallish cookies? That would make a serving less than 1/3 of one cookie. I hope that’s a mistake.
Trevor says
Ok for all those looking at the serving size it’s two cookies ( 1 package) per serving. If you look at the serving size above it it says is 26g which is what the picture of the front label shows (bottom middle). I believe they come in a box of 7 packages in a box but for some reason it was printed on the package or it was a typo.

The snacks are already on sale. I saw 2 types of WOW cookies, and several Enjoy Life bars and the Mambo mix at Mouse Gear in Epcot last Saturday.

Please delete my last comment I posted just now! Only 5 showed up when I refreshed, but now they all are appearing. Thanks!

Kimberly — So sorry for the delay! Often, we have to approve comments manually, and we normally do that once or twice daily. Hope this helps!

Do Disney do any sugar free snacks and desserts as my husband is diabetic.
Brooke says
Pauline — Yes, typically, you’ll find sugar free desserts on menus, especially at Table Service and Buffet-style restaurants. You’ll also find some sugar free snacks for purchase. If you don’t see anything available, be sure to ask a Cast Member. Disney is really great to have options for guests who have special dietary requirements. It’s easy for anyone looking to sample these 2 products without going to Disney.
They are produced by Enjoy Life Foods. Disney has carried them for last few years but in the Enjoy Life package. Disney just reached a deal to package then in their own named pack.
Go to your local Whole Foods, Sprout, Kroger or any other supermarket that carries GF products. You can buy Enjoy Life cookies there to try them.
They are FANTASTIC! We have been eating them for the last 3 years.

How exciting! We love Enjoy Life foods, and usually being our own into the parks. But how wonderful for kids to be able to enjoy “real” Disney food like everyone else. Worth the extra cost. Bravo to Disney for making those with food allergies feel included, when everywhere else seems to think think that “gluten free” covers everything. With multiple food allergies, I very rarely eat at restaurants but Disney is one place I actually trust. I have been in tears (of joy!) to be able to enjoy a “real” restaurant meal at Disney, such a thing most people take foe granted, but it means the world to me.

I read online that Pizza Port is no longer nut allergy safe!! They roast nuts (almonds and walnuts) in the same oven they use for pizzas.
