It’s Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort, and with the amount of fabulous themed eats in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, it’s our job to sample them all. Today we’re bringing you two Pixar Fest cake pops! Seriously — there are so many cake pops, and they’re located all over the parks!
But we’re starting off with the Pixar classic: Luxo Ball (a/k/a the Pixar Ball). This primary-colored cake pop perfectly captures the youthful spirit of the Pixar logo, and the three-dimensional design is on both sides of the pop!
Inside that cute exterior is a classic Vanilla Cake Pop. It’s as densely sweet as we expect a cake pop to be — so this cake pop is a must! Get yours at Marceline’s in Downtown Disney, Trolley Treats in DCA, and at Pooh Corner and Candy Palace in Disneyland.
The Grape Soda Cake Pop inspired by Up! is a little more unique. We love the bright purple sugar. So pretty, fun, and grape-y.
The Grape Soda decal is only on the front of this one, and the purple sugar coats the entire cake pop.
The Grape Soda decal is a medallion of white chocolate, which adds a little texture and flavor to the pop.
Now here’s where the Grape Soda Cake Pop gets interesting. The interior is dark purple, and cast member told us it’s grape soda-flavored. But we didn’t detect much (if any) grape flavor. And other guests report that cast members are telling them it’s vanilla, so…
Pick Up! your Grape Soda Cake Pop at Marceline’s in Downtown Disney, at Trolley Treats in DCA, and at Candy Palace and Pooh Corner in Disneyland!
