As part of the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland expansion, the counter-service restaurant is located near the Beast’s Castle in the New Fantasyland.
As guests walk up to Gaston’s Tavern, an enormous outdoor statue showcases this character with a huge ego.

The homage to Gaston continues inside the tavern where an incredible portrait hangs on the wall of the French village pub. We recently caught a glimpse of the portrait you can see hanging above the fireplace in that concept art photo above! Here’s Gaston looking resplendent, as he does in the restaurant itself…

What I find fun is that the costumes for cast members working in Gaston’s Tavern look very similar!
