Swing by Thirsty River if…
Exclusivity excites you. The Safari Amber is an exclusive beer that has been around since Animal Kingdom opened in 1998. It’s exclusive to Disney World, and this is just one of the bars you’ll find it!
You want a Mickey-shaped snack. This place has PLENTY of them! Find Mickey pretzels and Mickey ice cream bars, as well as other classic snacks including popcorn.
You’re looking for some of the BEST alcoholic drinks in Animal Kingdom! We consistently rave about these drinks, and after trying them for yourself, you’ll find it’s easy to agree. If you don’t have time to sit down at Nomad Lounge, head here!
Don’t bother stopping if…
You’re hungry. Like really hungry. We love snacking around Animal Kingdom, but if you haven’t eaten in hours and you’re desperate, we recommend stopping at a real Quick Service restaurant. Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe isn’t too far!
You’re looking for more unique snacks. One of its perks is also one of its downfalls. The snacks served here you can get almost anywhere around the park. If you’re looking for something more unique, you’ll probably be more satisfied stopping elsewhere.
You’re looking for a break indoors. The entire place is completely outdoors. If you’re looking for seating in the shade, A/C, or ducking inside a building for a while, you won’t find it here.
