Dawa Bar is a boozy haven in the middle of a very busy part of Animal Kingdom.
The drinks are strong, and the ambiance is casual. Many (like me, AJ!) consider the Dawa Bar to be among their most favorite and relaxing spots in Disney World.

Specialty cocktails here include, but are not limited to, Ngumu Jungle Juice made with the famous POG (Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava) Juice, Harambe Iced Tea, and an African Margarita. Imported beers here include the popular Safari Amber, and wine drinkers will find several options to enjoy as well.

Stop by Dawa Bar if…
You’re in the mood to relax. This is one of AJ’s favorite spots to take a break from the crowds and the chaos…and for good reason! Once you grab a refreshing drink, you’ll find plenty of shaded seating.
You’re obsessed with POG juice. POG juice is a rare delicacy in Disney World, and it’s even more unique in cocktail form! But at Dawa Bar, you can snag boozy POG juice with the Ngumu Jungle Juice. There are several other fruity drinks available here, so even if you branch out, you won’t be disappointed.
You want to try an exclusive beer. The Safari Amber is an exclusive beer that has been around since Animal Kingdom opened in 1998. It’s exclusive to Disney World, and this is just one of the bars you’ll find it!
Skip the Dawa Bar if…
You like to snack while you drink. Dawa Bar does not serve food, so it’ll just be you and your drink. Luckily, there are plenty of snack spots nearby, including Mahindi (popcorn, anyone?) and Kusafiri.
You prefer to drink on a budget. These are not the cheapest cocktails you’ll find in Disney World. Are they better, though? Yeah, probably.
You’re a wine lover. If you’re a wine lover, you’re probably used to having smaller selections at bars like this. While you’ll find red and white at Dawa Bar, the options are limited.
