Animal Kingdom’s Tusker House buffet is one of the best-kept secrets around when it comes to Disney dining. The food is amazing and interesting, the characters at breakfast are high-quality (Mickey and friends), and the price is as low as it gets.
I highly recommend this restaurant, whether you’re visiting alone, with family, or on a romantic getaway. It’s great for everyone.

The buffet here changes daily, but along with the typical American fare of salads, chicken, pork loin, and mac and cheese, you’ll find African additions like couscous, tandoori tofu, basmati and jollaf rice, and entrees cooked with African spices.
At breakfast, you can choose between standards like Mickey waffles and oatmeal, and new-to-you items like Beef Bobotie Quiche and Mealie Pap.
