While there have been many foodie Vinylmations in the past, this week saw the first-time introduction of a Vinylmation series dedicated to food items: the So Tasty series.
These are currently being sold at retail Disney stores and through DisneyStore.com for $11.95 each.
And besides being uber-adorable, these vinyl cuties are embedded with the scent they represent, just like the Jingle Smells series that appeared last Christmas.
So Tasty Vinylmation Set
The So Tasty set includes: a mint chip ice cream cone, frozen lemonade, buttered popcorn, grape soda, root beer, and bacon cheeseburger.
Here they are, front and back:
Root Beer
Bacon Cheeseburger
Grape Soda
I have to give a special shout out to the grape soda Vinyl, which smells so fabulously grape candy fake that I’m going to go order some Bottle Caps right now so I can really dive into the sensation. The grape soda also brings to mind the grape soda pin in the Pixar film “Up,” giving it an extra measure of Disney connection.
Buttered Popcorn
Frozen Lemonade
Mint Chip Ice Cream Cone
These are crazy cute and perfect for summer. Even the boxes are yummy.
The popcorn and cheeseburger Vinyls have close counterparts in previously released series:
In both cases, I think I prefer the older version from a looks perspective, but the So Tasty smells are what really puts them over the top. The only one I found unpleasant was the cheeseburger, which smelled mostly just burnt to me. All the others were completely evocative of the Bonne Bell lip gloss I wore in seventh grade.
More Food Vinylmation News
Now on to more Vinylmation news. I thought I’d share some more of my recent foodie Vinylmation purchases. These are all from recent series that are still available in stores.
This Sno Cone stand vinylmation from the Cutesters at the Beach series is great. There’s also a rare variant Fish Taco stand version, which I’m still searching for.
Some of you may remember this Robot Chef from Epcot’s dearly departed Horizons ride.
And we love this Toaster vinyl!
I can’t wait to hear about your foodie vinyl favorites!
So my fellow vinyl junkies, which ones of these tasty treats would you want to your collection? Let us know in the comments below.

We bought the So Tasty series. I completely agree that the cheeseburger is not a pleasing scent. It’s awful. But I think it’s so cute! The soda girls are my favorites, with the root beer being the most adorable. FYI, these are at Disney’s Character Warehouse for ridiculously low prices. I think they were 5 for $8.99??? If you’re missing this collection and want it, I’d look there.
