The 2020 Epcot Food and Wine Festival seminars and demonstrations, book signings, chef meet and greets, and other low-cost or free events always offer terrific opportunities to enhance your festival experience!
Culinary Demos, Beverage Seminars, Food and Beverage Pairings, and Mix It! Make It! Seminars will again be offered at this year’s festival.
These events will be held at the World ShowPlace Events Pavilion. Look for offerings throughout the duration of the Festival.

Early booking for Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members will open on a date TBA.
Tables in Wonderland members, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Golden Oak Residents may be eligible for a $2 discount (per person, per event) for beverage and mixology seminars and culinary demos. If you’re a Disney Vacation Club Member, you may book by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800.
Epcot Food and Wine Festival Culinary Demos and Beverage Seminars
There are no demos or seminars for 2020.
The cost for Culinary Demonstrations and Beverage Seminars is $19 per person. All events take place in the World ShowPlace Events Pavilion.
Epcot Food and Wine Festival Culinary Demonstrations
During each 45-minute demonstration, renowned gourmets will impart years of kitchen wisdom while whipping up a special delicious dish. Attendees can collect tips and tricks to sharpen their skills, and try dishes the chef is making.

Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It! Hands-On Workshops
Roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty! In this hands-on experience, you’ll learn directly from the pros. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about a myriad of culinary subjects — from decorating cakes, garnishing like a boss, and even mixing up an amazing cocktail!

Food and Beverage Pairing Events
Learn how to perfectly pair your food and beverage with some of the top Chefs during a 45-minute session.

Character Dance Party
Not returning for 2020 at this time.
Kids enjoy an interactive atmosphere where they dance and play along with “a rotating menu” of Disney Characters including Remy and Emile from Ratatouille at the Disney Du Jour Dance Party — and now in 2019, this dance party will be hoppin’ seven days a week!
On Sundays through Thursdays, a DJ will lead the fun, and on Fridays and Saturdays, Radio Disney stars will perform live!
Festival Welcome Center Events at World ShowPlace Pavilion
There is no official Festival Center for 2020’s event.
Many of these events, including seminars and demonstrations, may take place in the World ShowPlace Events Pavilion this year as the Wonders of Life Pavilion (former home of the Festival Center) is being transformed into the Epcot Play Pavilion. Some exhibits and events will take place in other parts of the the park.

Tailgate Tasting hosted by ESPN’s Monday Night Football – Not Returning for 2020
During this 45-minute program, you’ll enjoy a flight of 3 sample-sized food items, served with a complementary beverage tasting, inspired by the cities playing game each week. The best part — you’ll get a chance to learn from culinary experts how to make these dishes at home!
Dates: Sundays from September 8 through November 17
Price: $19 per person, plus tax. Epcot admission is required and not included.

Festival Center Stage Presented by Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company® – Not Returning for 2020
This event has not been confirmed for 2019 – stay tuned! “Discover the incredible voyage coffee undergoes in order to arrive in your morning mug.” Guests can purchase select coffees from Joffrey’s Specialty Disney Coffee Collection, including Disney French Bistro, Disney Peru Alto Mayo and Disney Mickey’s 90th Anniversary Blend.
Junior Chef Kitchen presented by Krusteaz® — Not Yet Confirmed for 2020
Please note: Junior Chef Kitchen has not yet been confirmed for 2019. Children become chefs and get to eat what they make in this family-friendly, complimentary experience every Sunday at the Festival Center. “Junior Chefs” will make, decorate, and sample their own pancake creations using fun recipes. Participants will also receive their very own chef hat, apron and certificate of completion.
Junior Chef Kitchen sessions are held at the Festival Center Spotlight Stage on select Sundays at 11:00 AM:

Children wishing to participate in the complimentary Junior Chef Kitchen must register at the Festival Center the day before or the morning of the experience. Guests must be between 4 and 10 years of age to participate. Availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Valid theme park admission is required.
The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar – Not Returning for 2020
*Included with Epcot admission
When: 9AM – Park Close
This Festival Center exhibit, hosted by Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, has been a staple of the Festival for years, and we expect to see it again this year. This exhibit includes displays outlining the history of chocolate and the chocolate making process as well as chocolate sculptures from Disney pastry chefs.
It’s a fun way to pass the time while you await upcoming events. There are also chocolate items available for purchase, including one of our favorites, Gourmet Drinking Chocolate!
You’ll also find sample chocolates, select a wine and chocolate pairing, and shop for a bag of your favorite Ghirardelli Gourmet Chocolates.
Back to Basics Seminars — Not Yet Confirmed for 2020
Turn ho-hum into YUM YUM! Back to Basics offers epicurean tips and tricks from the pros that may seem simple but can have a profound effect on your next dinner party.

Note: You do NOT have to attend a culinary or beverage seminar or demo to participate in these meet and greet opportunities with chefs and beverage experts. However, you may need to arrive at the Festival Welcome Center early to get a wristband for meet and greets with well-known personalities. On the day of your chosen chef’s demo, be sure to check in at the center to see if you’ll need a wristband.
Bottle Signings – Not Returning for 2020

Meet the winemaker and have your purchased bottle of wine autographed for a unique souvenir or gift. Please check the daily schedules for the most up-to-date info on presenters and their topics or visit the Festival Center Information Desk.
Emile’s Fromage Montage – Not Returning for 2020
In this all-new family friendly event guests can sample a variety of delicious cheeses served in inventive ways! Purchase any five cheese dishes from the Marketplace Booths that are listed in the Festival Passport and collect a stamp for each cheese dish purchased.
Once you’ve collected all the stamps bring the stamped Festival Passport to Shimmering Sips for a complimentary specialty cheesecake unique to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt
Everyone’s favorite rat, Chef Remy, will be joining the party with Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt once again in 2020!
Guests can participate in the hunt by purchasing a map and stickers at select Festival Center merch locations, then bring back their completed map for a special surprise!
Normally, you can pick up a map at the following Epcot locations:
– Pin Central
– Disney Traders in World Showcase
– International Gateway in World Showcase
Seasons of the Vine
Watch a 7 minute film where you’ll get a behind-the-vines look at the process that transforms delicate grapes into the “nectar of the gods”—step by nectarous step. The film runs continuously throughout each day of the Festival and is a must-see if you love wine!
Marketplace Discovery Passport
And it wouldn’t be the Epcot Food and Wine Festival without everyone’s favorite free souvenir! You’ll be able to pick up a Festival Marketplace Discovery Passport from the Festival Welcome Center to keep track of your progress Around the World.
This year, the Passports again come with a sheet of stickers for you to apply to each Booth page as you visited the corresponding Marketplace. The stickers replaced the stamps that guests could previously get at each booth.
We love the Festival Passport. It’s a handy way to note your favorites!
Mini-Size Festival Gift Card
Purchase a mini-size wearable Festival gift card. Using the card is easy—simply swipe or scan yours to pay for food, beverages and more.
Mini-size Festival gift cards can be purchased from Festival Center kiosks, along with select merchandise locations throughout Future World and World Showcase at Epcot for as a little as $15! The mini-size gift card can also be used at select Disney destinations.

Candy Sushi Presented by Adventures by Disney
Not returning for 2020.
A Disney Chef showed guests how to create their very own sweet Candy Sushi! Mars Wrigley Confectionary is partnering with Adventures by Disney to present this session daily at 3:30 and 5:30 pm in Sunshine Seasons in The Land Pavilion.
Space is limited, so be sure to sign up in advance on the Disney World website! The event is $10 per participating guest.
