Mosey on up to this Magic Kingdom Frontierland hitchin’ post for some tasty eats, beignets, and drinks to satisfy a ten-gallon-hat-sized thirst.
Golden Oak Outpost
Golden Oak Outpost is located in Frontierland, steps away from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and offers a variety of hearty quick-service offerings. You’ll want to keep an eye out, because even though the Golden Oak Outpost doesn’t offer a huge menu, you’ll often find some unique snacks that you can’t find elsewhere in the parks.
There is no indoor seating at this seasonally open spot, but across from the Outpost is the patio for Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, where some outdoor tables are nestled in a covered alcove.

Make your way to Golden Oak Outpost if you…
Need a hearty breakfast. Great news – the menu is available all day at this little snack stand! It’s easy to overlook this place as you make your way through Frontierland, but there aren’t a lot of breakfast options in the area, so this is NOT to be missed.
Want a grab-and-go snack. This is a great option for Magic Kingdom fans on the go. Order your food, pick it up at the window, and continue on with your day (with some food in your belly!).
Are slightly obsessed with Hot Honey. OK, Hot Honey fans, this is for you. Do you put that stuff on everything? We don’t blame ya! It’s the perfect addition to a savory snack, and it adds both a little sweet and a little heat. YUM!
Skip this spot if you…
Are a beignet snob. Sorry, Tiana. Disney let you down with these beignets. We’ve had great beignets in Disney World (shoutout to the Port Orleans hotel), but the beignets here are…not as good. Ultimately, it’s still a fun little sweet treat for most people, but beignet snobs may be a little offended by the ones served here.
Are traveling with a large party. This is just a little kiosk! For larger groups, you may prefer a place with tables and chairs where your group can sit down and spread out. Plus, the menu is pretty limited, which isn’t ideal when you have a lot of people to please.
Need to escape the heat. This area of the park can get pretty toasty – there isn’t much shade in Frontierland! If you’re visiting the park on a hot, crowded day, you probably won’t be in the mood to stand in an outdoor line, wait for your food under the direct sun, then wander around in search of a table.
