The Writer’s Stop is a special place; an immersive shop that makes you feel like you’ve entered a charming city book shop, with a touch of Disney. The shop features a small retail section, kitchen housewares, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, comfortable seating, a vintage style television, a writer’s nook, unique studio light fixtures, and delicious snacks. Barista-style hot drinks like cappuccino, espresso, mochachino, iced coffees, cafe latte, and regular coffee with a variety of flavored syrups are featured along with a bakery case full of appetizing treats.

• The Writer’s Stop was originally placed in the old Disney’s MGM Studios under a different name to promote the ABC sitcom “Ellen,” featuring Ellen DeGeneres. It was an homage to the book shop on the show called “Buy the Book.”
