UPDATE 3/24/10:
Heard via reader email that a CM at Disney dining confirmed that the party would start up again on the 28th. (Note: We still consider it a rumor until Disney confirms via official channels.) Not sure if they’re booking yet, so keep on calling! 🙂

Hearing on the message boards this morning that the hugely popular Wishes Dessert Party might be on its way back to the Magic Kingdom as soon as March 28th. When I called Disney Dining to confirm, I was told that the event will be returning to the Magic Kingdom soon, but that booking details were not available for release and I should call back in a week.
My best guess? For those of you headed to WDW in the next few weeks or months who want to book the Dessert Party, start calling every morning to see what you can find out.

Wish that would have been available when I was at the World a few weeks ago. It looked like they were renovating the Tomorrowland Terrace area – perhaps in preparation for the Wishes Dessert Party to return? There were a bunch of tarps over my favorite Wishes viewing area, so I think it’s possible.

The next trip is up in the air, but hopefully in the next couple of years to run in the Wine & Dine Half-Marathon! 🙂
I’ve been waiting for this news all winter! I’m so hoping you’re right and we’ll be able to book for our trip in a few weeks. Hmmm, now I have to plan how that will affect our other ADRs. Thanks for bringing us the latest and greatest.

I think the main reason they were redoing the Tomorrowland Terrace was because of the dessert party.. possibly doing something to better improve the view… (especially if on top balcony… (just my guess).. But the rennovation was definatly for the Dessert Party..
I cant wait for it to come back, i enjoyed it in October, if only i didnt eat as much for dinner, i would have eaten a WHOLE LOT MORE a the partry 🙂
