As you know, Kouzzina by Cat Cora on Disney World’s Boardwalk has been closed for a few weeks for refurbishment. Everyone wondered why a restaurant that’s only been open for a year needed refurb, but, here’s a bit of a peek into the mystery!
The restaurant has re-emerged with even more to offer —
- New exterior signage
- New “Cat Cora Presence” in the lobby via video monitors that showcase Cat’s views on food and family
- Cat’s product line is now available for sale in the lobby
- And “olive oil tasting experience” is now highlighted in the main dining room — with the bread at the meal, servers will offer two varieties of Greek olive oils to taste and compare
- New artwork, marble finishes, and window treatments have also been added
- And… a CHEF’S TABLE! The “Coranation Room” has been added at the back of the room with more upscale decor. A Chef’s Table experience will be offered on weekends (upcoming).

Hey AJ! Thanks for the info 🙂 Do you know when Kouzzina is re-opening? Is it open yet? And no word on when the Chef’s Table will begin? Would def love to do this as a reward to myself for running the marathon in January!
Jenn — It’s open now, but I’m not sure about when the Chef’s table will be available. If you go in Jan, let me know!!
Is there going to be a new menu too? We ate here last trip and it was good, but not amazing. Not sure if this restaurant rates a Chef’s table as is.
Another sign that the Disney folks are taking food and beverage more seriously and bringing their offerings into the 21 st century. Good for them, hope they keep it up.
jrriddle — I have a feeling the whole point of the reno was to make this place a bit more upscale. I look forward to seeing if it’s reflected in the menu as well. Good question!
