We ate at 1900 Park Care on our last trip and it was awesome. We had dinner and while I’d say the food was adequate, the character interaction was stellar. We were all adults, but they played their parts to the hilt and we had so much fun and laughter that it was actually one of the highlights of our trip!
Please. It’s a CREAM tea, not HIGH tea. I don’t care what the Grand Floridian calls it, the proper name for the afternoon tea with scones and pastries is a Cream tea. A High tea is actually a fairly substantial meal and the Brits don’t appreciate us Americans getting the two mixed up.
My dad is sort of addicted to Narcossees, so I have come to love the place form eating there easily over a dozen times. Their wine menu is pretty good, lots of flights tend to be available which is great for people like me who just love trying lots of things. They often have a wonderful duck item on the menu, something I tend to look for since it is not a very common item on most restaurant menus at home. My last visit I finally got the Surf and Turf, and they had the Lobster tail butter poached and served outside the shell, saving me the annoyance of fighting with it, and it tasted divine.
I will say that sometimes during the Fireworks show people will climb over the ropes and watch the fireworks while standing right in front of your window, which is something they really need to be more accountable about, since who wants to have the show blocked by other peoples rear ends while they eat?
