You’ve got to check out these new Kudu Cookies at Animal Kingdom Lodge! What’s a Kudu? After spending some time at Animal Kingdom Lodge or in Animal Kingdom Park, you’ll quickly learn a Kudu is an antelope!
And our instagram friend Nicole, @Nickilala13, recently alerted us to this discovery in The Mara Bakery Case!
This new dessert consists of two yummy cookies with frosting between them, all dipped in a white chocolate – and topped off with…!
A chocolate HORN!
Nicole reports that these are very sweet. So it might be a good one to share… .
In more Mara news, we are sad to report that my beloved Peanut Butter Brownie is no longer available at this time. Here’s hoping it returns to the case!
Don’t forget, if you plan on picking this Kudu Cookie up at the Mara, Animal Kingdom Lodge is now cashless!

We stayed at AK Lodge 3 weeks ago and I checked the Mara pastry case almost every day and never saw the PB brownie. Was bummed because I really wanted to try per your raving reviews. Hopefully it will come back!
The peanut butter brownie is gone??? Noooooo!!! I’m staying there in November and it’s the ONE thing I wanted to eat there! 🙁
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do we raise hell and getvthe pb brownie back?! ? But seriously, how?
Please let me know if you visit the Mara and see the peanut butter brownie. Hope to see it stay!
As an AKL regular and one who prefers the live animals at AK over the thrill rides, I have to tell you that kudus have horns, not antlers. There are lots of differences but the easiest is branched=antler, one spike=horn. There’s only one exception to this in the world, the American Pronghorn.
MissBianca: Noted and changed in the post! Thanks for the lesson!
Please let the peanut butter brownie come back by Dec 3rd when I arrive
Have been dreaming about it!
