Disney’s Riviera Resort is now booking reservations for dates starting December 16, 2019! The design for this deluxe Disney Vacation Club Resort is “inspired by the European grandeur Walt Disney experienced in his travels along the Mediterranean coastline.”
In addition to the availability of reservations, information on the dining options has also been revealed. Riviera Resort will feature a rooftop, signature dining restaurant called Topolino’s Terrace –– Flavors of the Riviera. French and Italian cuisine will be the focus of this restaurant which will also offer views of the fireworks from Epcot and Hollywood Studios. (Topolino, by the way, is Mickey Mouse’s name in Italian). Breakfast will also feature a special experience with a prix-fixe character meal!
Options will also include Le Petit Café in the lobby area which will serve coffee in the daytime and become a wine bar at night.
Primo Piatto will offer Quick Service options to guests, and will be located near the main pool, where guests will also be able to enjoy drinks at the open-air Bar Riva. Bar Riva will serve European and Mediterranean-style fare along with cocktails and made-to-order drinks.
And don’t forget — guests will also have access to the new Disney Skyliner gondola system, as Riviera Resort will have its own dedicated station as one of the stops which will also connect Epcot and Hollywood Studios, Art of Animation Resort, Pop Century Resort, and Caribbean Beach Resort.
Room options will include Deluxe Studios, one and two bedroom Villas, and Grand Villas which will be able to accommodate up to twelve guests. A new category is Tower Studios, which will be able to house two guests and offer a private balcony with Tower views.
This deluxe Disney Vacation Club Resort will begin accepting reservations with Disney Vacation Club points in the spring, but for now the general public is able to book room-only and Disney World vacation packages.
