Back in February, Disney Parks Blog announced a one-of-a-kind experience coming to Disneyland Resort in the space formerly occupied by Downtown Disney’s ESPN Zone. The new experience, called Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration, is progressing toward its spring opening with new exterior signage.

Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration is described as a series of “different imaginatively themed rooms” designed to provide guests with copious photo opps. Each room will be themed to celebrate Mickey and and Minnie Mouse for the main mouse’s continuing 90th birthday celebration.

Signs are now up outside for the Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration Store!

The Store will carry artist collections, apparel, sparkle cinch sacks, tumblers, ball caps, and more!

Other exterior signs include this vibrant art piece with Mickey’s silhouette which has been used to cover the reliefs of athletes on the upper part of the building.

Note that Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration is a separately ticketed experience, but we expect the store will be open to the public. We’ll keep you posted!
