St. Patrick’s Day is coming up!
While most of Disney Springs is focused on Valentine’s Day desserts or special menus for the 14th, one restaurant is already looking ahead to March. Of course, Raglan Road Irish Pub is the first to start preparing for St. Patrick’s Day! The offerings this year will be as authentic and lively as ever this year, but with special precautions in place.
The Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival — Unplugged! will run from March 12th-17th. Pub co-owner John Cooke says it “remains the best Irish hospitality experience in America.” We’ll see Irish food and drink, gift competitions, and even some giveaways!
On March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day), Raglan Road will open at 10AM with a $10 cover charge. Reservations are strongly recommended, as capacity will be limited to respect social distancing guidelines. You can book a 2-hour time slot on the Raglan Road website now.
Guests can sip from a huge range of Irish whiskeys, local craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails while enjoying a selection of authentic Irish dishes, including fresh-caught fish with chips.
Gathering around bars or stages will not be permitted, but there’s still lots of entertainment to enjoy! A troupe of Raglan Road Irish Dancers will perform throughout the festival. And on St. Patrick’s Day, there’s a whole lineup of acts. Main stage entertainment includes:
- 11AM-1PM — The Byrne Brothers: This exceptionally talented traditional Irish music family from Donegal plays to their audience with vibrant charm. Their show combines exciting traditional Irish tunes with modern dance beats.
- From 1:30PM – Slygo: A talented, energetic trio, Slygo combine their youth and heritage to perform a vibrant, uplifting mix of trad and contemporary Irish tunes and songs.
- From 5PM-Close – Men of Aran: These two legends of the traditional Irish music world have toured, performed and recorded with numerous trad Irish music luminaries.
On the patio stage, the lineup includes:
- From 12:30PM – Aaron O’Sullivan: A singer-songwriter/guitarist from County Cork, O’Sullivan entertains with a mixture of traditional Irish ballads and modern Irish songs.
- 6:30PM-Close – Slygo
Raglan Road is working hard to uphold safety measures while maintaining “the fun and purity of a good old Irish festival.” We’ll be sure to give you all the latest Disney news and updates, so stay tuned to DFB!
