Have you ever wondered how much the Disney jewelry on-screen actually costs?
Sure, we see characters in movies decked out in valuable gems, but how much are they worth? Well, save yourself the headache of doing the math, because someone else did it for you! Jewelry brand Taylor & Hart ranked some of the most expensive fictional jewelry ever. And guys, it would costs WAY more to create than you’d think. Let’s take a look!
2 Disney movies (and a nod to Star Wars) are included in the top 25! Coming in at #8 is Elsa’s crown from Frozen, which is worth a whopping $104,255. The crown is 18 carat yellow gold with a light blue sapphire. WOW is that pricey!
The #12 spot is held by Princess Jasmine’s necklace from the 2019 live-action Aladdin. This one is worth a lot less than Elsa’s crown — it’s $25,021 — but that’s still expensive! The necklace is 18-carat yellow gold, too, but with diamonds and Swiss blue topaz jewels.
And the #17 spot is held by a different kind of princess — none other than Princess Leia herself! Her ring from Star Wars: The Last Jedi is valued at $3,259. It, too, is 18-carat yellow gold, with 2 cabochon star sapphires. Pretty fancy!
The rest of those 25 spots are filled with pop culture favorites like the Heart of the Ocean from Titanic (the #1 spot!) and the Infinity Gauntlet from Avengers: Infinity War. You can check out the full list here.
