Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt is one of Disney’s newer additions to their EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, featuring a search for Olaf statues hidden throughout EPCOT’s World Showcase. If you find all the Olaf statues around EPCOT, you’ll get a free prize!
Today, this holiday scavenger hunt is back and we’re on the hunt for our favorite snowman.
Before you head out on your holiday tradition expedition, be sure to stop by World Traveler at International Gateway, Port of Entry, or the Creations Shop to get the scavenger hunt map. The map costs $9.99 this year (which is a little more than last year’s hunt cost).
On one side, there’s a map of EPCOT with circles around it for all the spots to look for Olaf in the park. The redemption locations (where you’ll go to get your prize!) are also marked on this map. The other side has stickers, which you’ll peel off and stick on the opposite side. Each sticker matches an item that Olaf has on his sled, and when you see Olaf with that item, you’ll put the matching sticker on the circle with Olaf’s location. This side of the map also has fun facts about holiday traditions from around the world.
Keep your eyes peeled, because you never know where you’ll find Olaf! Remember: there’s one Olaf in each pavilion of World Showcase, plus one at L’Chaim Kitchen and American Gardens Theater!
Some Olafs are fairly easy to find, sitting out in the open, but some can feel IMPOSSIBLE to spot. But we don’t want to give away too much about where to spot this snowman!
Once you find all of the Olafs and put the stickers in the right locations, you’ll get a special prize! Head to the Creations Shop, Disney Traders, or World Traveler gift shop to get choose your prize. Right now, it seems as if the official prizes have not come in. Today, you can choose a Disney “Nerds Rock” lanyard…
…a 2021 Mickey Mouse Lanyard Pouch…
…or a Tinkerbell Lanyard Pouch.
