OG Disney World Fans Will Want to Snag This Limited Edition Mickey Mouse Plush!

All year long Disney has been releasing exclusive plushes from iconic characters from classic films. And now the 2021 Treasures of the Vault Plush Collection is finishing strong!

Each month this year, Disney has been releasing a new collectible plush celebrating classic Disney characters. So far, we’ve seen a Winnie the Pooh plush, Donald Duck plush, and some other plushes released. But, this momentous year in Disney history is concluding with a rare plush!

This month, the NEW Limited Edition collectible plush being released is honoring a Magic Kingdom opening day attraction and classic (well, THE classic) character — Mickey Mouse!

But this isn’t your ordinary Mickey Mouse push. This exclusive D23 release depicts Mickey as Maestro Mickey from the Magic Kingdom opening day attraction, The Mickey Mouse Revue.

This attraction once stood in the place of Mickey’s Philharmagic, which also features a maestro Mickey Mouse. But in this opening day musical attraction, an audio-animatronic maestro Mickey Mouse led an orchestra and cast of over 70 other Disney characters (in a very Country Bear Jamboree style performance) as they played songs from classic Disney films. This attraction was a Fantasyland staple until 1980. In 1983 it was moved to serve as an opening day attraction at Tokyo Disneyland.

Now, D23 Treasures of the Vault Plush Collection is honoring the mouse that started it all and Magic Kingdom’s 50th anniversary with this unique iteration of Maestro Mickey Mouse from the Mickey Mouse Revue.

This Mickey Mouse plush stands 16 inches tall and is made of soft fabrics with embroidered eyes.

He also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. And his window box provides a perfect way to preserve and display this collectible.

These limited edition plushes will be released soon on Amazon, but D23 members will have early access to them! If you’re a D23 member, you can visit the D23 website on Friday, December 3rd at 9AM PST to get a link to purchase these plushes from Amazon.
