We’re getting to the bottom of a VERY hard Disney question.
To our Facebook followers, we posed the question, “Would you rather listen to “it’s a small world” on repeat all day or ride the Mad Tea Party 10 times in a row?” We got around 540 responses and the results might surprise you!
“it’s a small world,” all the way.
Out of the responses, about 52% of our followers chose to listen to “it’s a small world” on repeat all day. Some followers noted that the task would be easy because “I actually like that song.”
For some, it was more about how badly they DIDN’T want to spin on Mad Tea Party. One reader said, “Given how most spinning rides affect me, I’d definitely listen to “it’s a small world” all day. Yes, I know it’s the Sherman brothers’ most ear-worm song, but it’s better than the alternative.”
And some are just downright used to the song! “My oldest used to nap with small world playing on repeat,” a reader noted, “I could listen for a whole week and be fine.”
Bring on the Mad Tea Party!
When it comes to Mad Tea Party, around 39% said they could take the dizziness. Just like with “it’s a small world,” some readers just LOVE this ride: “I would enjoy riding teacups 10 times in a row.”
A bunch of readers noted that you don’t NEED to spin the teacup you’re riding in to help reduce the dizziness. One follower noted, “Tea party as long as I don’t have to spin them.”
One reader even implied that listening to “it’s a small world” all day could have serious consequences saying, “Mad Tea Party. Better to puke than end up in a different dimension LOL.” We’ve never ended up in another dimension listening to a Sherman Brothers song, but anything could happen!
I’d happily do BOTH.
We’ve got some VERY Disney-lovin’ die-hards who said they’d happily do BOTH. It was about 5% of the responses. One reader said, “All day is a little excessive, but yah, I’ll do both happily.”
Another noted the perfect outcome would be to “Listen to “it’s a small world” while riding the teacups!”
You couldn’t make me do EITHER.
And it wasn’t quite the answer we were looking for, but you have to respect the 4% of folks that said they wouldn’t do EITHER. One reader asked, “Can we choose neither?”
As to why this response seemed tempting, another follower noted, “One would be stuck in my head for days and the other would bring up all of my stomach contents so I will just stay home.”
Those are some pretty interesting results! What would you choose? Follow us on Facebook to take part in more of these fun discussions and, as always, keep an eye on DFB for the latest Disney World updates!
