We Didn't Have Cheese Nail Polish on Our Bingo Card, But Here We Are

It’s no secret that here at DFB, we love cheese. We don’t even care if it’s fancy cheese — plastic cheese is also a vibe.

But as much as we love cheese, we can’t say it’s crossed our minds to WEAR cheese. We don’t mean like a shirt with cheese on it either — we’re talking walking around smelling like cheese. 🤔 Still, this may be the most interesting cheese accessory we’ve ever seen.

When it comes down to cheeses we love, we enjoy Velveeta Cheese as much as the next person. Who doesn’t like to dig into a big bowl of Velveeta Shells & Cheese or a Velveeta queso dip?? We’re just not sure we’ve ever looked at that bright yellow cheese and thought, “I wish Velveeta existed as nail polish.”

Well, Velveeta decided to answer the demand for cheese nail polish, which we suppose totally definitely exists. And it’s not just the color of Velveeta, y’all — it’s also CHEESE SCENTED. 🧀 Not only can you look like you just dipped your fingers in some melted Velveeta cheese, but you can also smell like it. A dream come true, truly.

Velveeta collaborated with nail polish company Nails.INC to create the Cheese Scented Nail Polish Duo, including La Dolce Velveeta yellow and Finger Food red. We feel obligated to mention that this nail polish is NOT made of cheese, as stated specifically on the Nails.INC website. So no, you can’t eat it, sadly — but it might make you hungry.

As reported by NBC 9 News, The Kraft Heinz Company Senior Brand Communications Manager Kelsey Rice said in a press release, “Velveeta is known for its rich, creamy texture and cheesy, melty goodness, so what better way to bring this to life for our fans than with something equally as rich and creamy — nail polish.” We’re not sure if nail polish is the first thing that comes to mind for us, but sure.
