Okay, so y’all know how much we love Gideon’s Bakehouse. We can’t get enough of those cookies and cake slices!
Gideon’s Bakehouse Orlando East End location
In fact, we loved Gideon’s cookies long before a location opened in Disney Springs, back when we could get the cookies at the original Orlando location (and at Polite Pig for a while). So when we tell you to drop everything to go get a special cookie, you know we mean it! And today is that day!
So here’s the deal — the Black Cat Cookie is only available for ONE DAY each year and you can only get it at Gideon’s Orlando East End location. It’s a White Chocolate Chip Cookie completely covered in premium Dark Chocolate with Black Glitter and Cacao Nibs.

This cookie is special because Thursday is National Black Cat Day, so proceeds from the Black Cat Cookie will be going to the Liberation Cat House, a local cat adoption agency.

Even better? If you stop by Gideon’s in the East End today, you’ll get to see some beautiful cats up for adoption from 9:30AM to 2PM. So you could leave with a delicious cookie AND a kitty!

If you do plan on visiting Gideon’s in the East End, parking can be a little tricky — overflow parking, though, is available up and down Corrine Drive. There’s also a parking lot available at Audubon Park School. So keep that in mind if you’re heading over!
