What are we talking about? Amazon Prime Day runs from July 11th through July 12th, and we are READY to see all the great deals on merchandise that will come with this big once-a-year sale. We’ve already told you how to get FREE money for Prime Day, but if you’re going to be shopping during the event, we’ve got some tips that will help you make the most of it!

Amazon Prime Membership

Prime membership currently costs $139 per year or $14.99 per month. BUT students with a .edu email address can get a six-month trial and then pay $7.49 per month or $69 per year after.

Also, those on eligible government assistance programs (including EBT, Medicaid, NAP, and select other things) can qualify for “Prime Access” which can get you a membership for $6.99 per month.

What other things should you take a look at to prepare for Prime Day? Well, we’ll tell you.

Prime Member Coupons

First, check out the Prime Member Coupons, which are already available. With these, you can already score HUGE deals on things like home and kitchen items, jewelry, beauty, toys, pet supplies, and more!

These coupons are EXCLUSIVE to Amazon Prime members, but the savings are HUGE. For example, you can save anywhere from $270 off a ceiling fan to 50% off other home and kitchen items.

As we said, these deals are exclusively for Amazon Prime members, so now could be a good time to sign up! Be sure to hit “clip coupon” to get those savings.

Special Prime Day Deals

Prime Day deals also include up to 60% off Alexa and Smart Home Devices so you can bring the magic of “Hey Disney” into your home for a little bit less if you get the right device!

You can even get a limited edition Amazon Gift Card right now that comes in a special Amazon van tin.

Prime Day is also bringing special 99-cent per month subscription fees for several streaming services, including Starz, Britbox, and more.

If you’re going on vacation and renting a car, you’ll need to check out the special deal with Avis: you can save up to 30% off your car rental AND get $10 back of the cost of your rental on an Amazon gift card.
