ALERT! Wawa May SOON Be Opening Near You!

So, we know a lot of you visit Disney World pretty often.

And maybe, just maybe, you’ve stopped at a few locations OUTSIDE Disney World for food, like at the massive McDonald’s nearby, the White Castle, or maybe even the Wawa gas station. We’ve actually taste-tested some food at Wawa and found some snacks similar to the ones at Disney World! Well, you will soon be able to grab some of those snacks in Ohio!

Yep, that’s right. Wawa is expanding into Ohio! The company that owns Wawa hopes to open approximately 60 stores across the state over the next 8-10 years. 60! That means you might be close to a Wawa in Ohio, no matter where you live.

Wawa already has 16 sites in Ohio under contract across the following counties: Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Greene, Hamilton, Miami, Montgomery, and Warren. Those sites are currently going through the permit and approval process, with the first 10 stores expected to open in the middle of 2025, followed by 10 more stores in 2026 and five stores each year after that.

“We were thrilled to share our ‘flight plan’ for Ohio and reveal, for the very first time, our exciting expansion plans, renderings and more with our newest soon-to-be neighbors!” said Wawa Director of Store Operations Joe Collins. Wawa hopes to reveal even more of its expansion plans soon, as well as share details about each of its new locations in Ohio.
