Voice actor Peter Renaday is known as the voice of Henry and Max Disney World’s original Country Bear Jamboree.
On Sunday, September 9th, Peter Renaday passed away at the age of 89. He had a remarkable career and will be remembered for his work and talent.
According to Deadline, Peter Renaday was found unresponsive at his home by law enforcement during a welfare check on Sunday. While a cause of death has not been determined, natural causes are suspected.
Renaday was also known for voicing the President Abraham Lincoln animatronic at The Hall of Presidents as well as for his work on Disney’s The Aristocats, The Rescuers, and The Black Cauldron. He also voiced the rat sensei Master Splinter in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series.
News of Renadays death was shared on social media by TMNT costar Townsend Coleman, the voice of Michaelangelo. Coleman shared, “Pete was one of the most genuine, salt of the earth people I have ever known and I will miss him dearly. I had the privilege of visiting with him a month ago and he was as vibrant as ever, at 89 just as endearingly silly, smart, and talented as I’ve always known him to be.”
