When you’re watching your favorite show, don’t you just wish there was a way to share your favorite scenes?
Honestly, we’d just share the scene in Agatha All Along where the witches sing “The Witches’ Road” a million times. Or maybe we’d love to share the scene in Inside Out 2 when Anxiety goes spinning out of control (same, Anxiety, same). Maybe we just want to highlight our favorite moments from Wizards of Waverly Place (yes, yes, we do). Imagine if that were possible. Well, Netflix has figured out how to let users share scenes…and we need Disney+ to do the same.
According to Variety, Netflix just rolled out a new mobile feature that lets you share your favorite scenes from TV shows and movies with your friends. The feature is called “Moments” and lets Netflix subscribers save, rewatch, and share their favorite scenes across ALL of Netflix’s titles. So if you want to share some favorite moments from Bridgerton, now you can.
Netflix said, “With Moments, members can quickly bookmark a scene while watching on their phone, saving it directly to their My Netflix tab for easy access later. Members can also share their favorite scenes across platforms like Instagram and Facebook, creating a seamless way to engage with their favorite content and share it with friends. We’re excited to add even more features in the future to help members enjoy and share their favorite Netflix moments.”
Netflix even released a star-studded TV ad showing off the new feature. Watch Giancarlo Esposito, Simone Biles, and Cardi B talking about how they plan on using Moments. Moments is now available on iOS devices, with a rollout coming to Android coming soon.
Now, all we have to ask is: when can we get this for Disney+? We need to share our favorite scenes from Loki, Andor, The Simpsons, Taylor Swift’s | The Eras Tour, Hamilton, and more!
Stay tuned to DFB for more.
