Before you start packing your favorite ears and picking out your first Lightning Lane, you’ll probably want to plan how you’re going to get to the gorgeous state of Florida for your next Disney World trip. For many, this means choosing flights to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
Southwest Airlines added new nonstop flights to MCO, making your next Disney World trip even faster!
Southwest is offering new redeye flights from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Orlando starting February 14th! There will also be nonstop flights from Las Vegas to Baltimore, Los Angeles to Baltimore and Nashville, and from Phoenix to Baltimore.
You’ll want to grab your eye mask for these overnight flights, but there’s no greater feeling than waking up and realizing you’re in your next vacation spot!
Southwest is also changing its open seating policy! You will have assigned seats when purchasing your ticket, and higher-priced tickets will come with a better boarding slot. This new policy will take effect later this year and will end the 50-year tradition of open seating.
If you’re flying Southwest, don’t be afraid to bring an extra bag for all the souvenirs you’ll be getting in the parks! Southwest still offers two free bags for your flight, making buying those extra pairs of ears and sweatshirts an easier decision.
