Attention D23 Gold Members: Get ready to go “I-2-1” with a movie screen three smoking April as Disney’s official fan club is hosting EXCLUSIVE screenings of the 1990s cult classic A Goofy Movie!
The screenings are part of the Fork n’ Film screening series, which features “a multicourse meal inspired by your favorite movies.” D23 said, “Each dish is meticulously crafted and served at the exact moment it appears on the screen, offering an unprecedented level of engagement with the movie. This extraordinary approach elevates the cinematic experience, adding an immersive layer of sensory delight. It enables our guests to step into the world of the film, engaging their senses beyond sight and sound. We collaborate with a diverse and inclusive team of chefs, venues, and partners to take film-loving foodies on a multisensory gastronomic adventure where the boundaries between spectator and participant are blurred.”
The D23 Member Exclusive Fork n’ Film screenings of A Goofy Movie are scheduled for the following cities and dates:
- London: April 5th at 7:00 PM
- New York: April 5th & April 12th at 1:00 PM
- Los Angeles: April 5th & April 12th at 1:00 PM
- Las Vegas: April 5th at 1:00 PM
- Portland: April 11th at 6:00 PM
The screenings are the first of several events throughout the year that will celebrate the 30th (yes 90s kids, it really is THAT old) anniversary of A Goofy Movie. The G-Rated cult classic features Goofy taking his teenage son Max on a “hilarious cross-country road trip. En route to the ole fishing hole, they find themselves up to their floppy ears in misadventure, action-packed situations, narrow escapes—and even a comically close encounter with Bigfoot” and of course culminates in a “showstopping finale, when Max and Goofy “crash the stage” at the most spectacular rock concert ever performed.”
This coming April, D23 Gold Members will be able to attend exclusive Fork n’ Film screenings celebrating the 30th anniversary of A Goofy Movie. Stay tuned to DFB for more on these kinds of events!
