If you have questions about the Disney Cruise Line, you’ve come to the right place!
Whether it’s your 100th voyage or your first, keeping up with the experiences the Disney Cruise line offers is never a bad idea. Whether you’re looking for pools, shows, or fun dining experiences, the Disney Cruise Line fleet has you covered. However, while gambling on cruise ships is a pretty standard practice, is it available aboard any of the Disney Cruise Line ships?
Disney DOES offer some more adult-friendly cruises, so does that mean it also has the same adult-centered features like casinos that OTHER cruise ships have? The answer is no, not exactly.
Remember, the Disney Cruise Line is very different from other cruise lines. At the end of the day — even with Disney’s adult-focused areas — Disney still takes a lot of pride in their ships being family-friendly. The idea of Mickey Mouse playing a round of blackjack or Daisy Duck hitting the slots might not give the best message to our younger cruise friends.
That doesn’t mean you can’t win a little extra cha-CHING while you’re onboard a Disney ship!
Technically, you can still gamble by playing Bingo!
Bingo does cost extra on the Disney Cruises, but you have the potential to walk away with a lot more money than you spent.
There are TWO main Bingo options you can choose to pay for: either the traditional paper cards with daubers OR you can get a BUNCH of electronic cards (we’re talking 48+) on a tablet that you rent out.
While it’s fun to be more hands-on with the Bingo game and go the traditional paper route, your chances of winning a Bingo game drastically increase when you rent out the electronic boards that keep track of each board for you.
And don’t worry about an electronic board being BORING. Disney really plays up their Bingo games. So even if you don’t win a cent, you’re still gonna be thoroughly entertained.
So, while you won’t be able to hit the tables and win back all the money you spent on the cruise, there’s still plenty of fun to be had and stakes to be wagered!
Do you mind that there aren’t any casinos on the Disney Cruise Line? Do you think the ships would be better off including them, or has Disney made the right call?
