Did you know there are Disney cruises that aren’t part of Disney Cruise Line?
National Geographic Expeditions is a great way to vacation around the world if you’re interested in seeing natural wonders. And if you’re the type who loves to set sail, they have their own list of cruises to check out! We recently took a Nat Geo Expeditions Cruise to Croatia, and we learned an important lesson.
These National Geographic Expeditions Cruises are typically multi-day trips where you travel around a chosen region of the world. There are several different itineraries available for Europe, where you can stop and see some of the most stunning cities and countryscapes on planet earth.
But while you’re on board the ship, you’ll live like you would on any other cruise! You’ll stay in a stateroom, enjoy onboard activities, and dine on the boat. And if you’re wondering what you should pack for such an experience? We’re here to tell you that we went a little overboard.
We mostly packed dresses for our dinners on the ship, and let me tell you — we were overdressed! Meals were a surprisingly casual affair on this trip, even though it’s a pricier itinerary than most Disney Cruise Line vacations. No need to stock up on formal wear, this is more of a come-as-you-are situation.
So if you’re interested in a relaxing, laid-back European sailing on a smaller but more detailed scale than what Disney Cruise Line allows for, try a National Geographic Expeditions Cruise. We were incredibly impressed with the whole experience!
