If you’ve been following us for a little while, you know we talk about shoes a lot. It might seem like we are obsessed with shoes, and maybe we are. But when you’re walking MILES and MILES each day in Disney World, the right shoe can make or break how you feel at the end of the day. We don’t want to see anyone limping their way through the parks.
That’s why we always try out shoes in the parks so we can recommend them. Now, we have one trusted sneaker brand that has been put through its paces (and I own these shoes myself). We can say with complete confidence that these can last through 10-hour — and more — days in Disney World.

So the first time we put on these shoes, they felt so cushiony that we thought we were walking on air. And that’s the kind of cushioning you need when you’re on your feet all day in Disney World. These are also great for folks with high arches, and although they’re pricey, they’re also durable.
We’ve worn these to the parks MANY times, and we haven’t noticed any wear or tear. They also still feel springy after hundreds of miles of walking. They cradle your feet for ultimate comfort. And although a lot of sneakers like this come off bulky, most of what you’ll find in these shoes is the height from all that extra cushioning, so they don’t look super bulky on your feet.
Get the Brooks Women’s Ghost 17 Sneakers
Coming in a close second are the Brooks Ghost 17s. These are typically targeted at runners, but they also make for a great park shoe, too. They fit well and they can support your feet ALL day long. They have a nice, balanced feel, so each step feels smooth. They seem a little heavy at first, but once you walk around in them, you feel them conform around your foot. They also have some nice cushioning and bounce.
Walking almost feels like gliding in these babies. Yes, they’re pricey, too, but you’ve already spent a TON on your Disney World trip, so it’s worth it to pay a little extra for shoes that won’t ruin that trip.
