While you might be distracted by which incredible rides you get to go on, how many characters you get to meet, and what fun snacks you’re going to grab during your Disney vacation, you don’t want to skip figuring out where to stay.
Disneyland Paris has a few different hotel options, including Disney Sequoia Lodge, which reminds us a lot of Wilderness Lodge at Disney World or the Grand Californian at Disneyland. New details are coming to Disney Sequoia Lodge, and y’all, we’re already booking another trip.
At the beginning of 2026, Disney began a major renovation of the hotel. They wanted to improve guest experience while “preserving the hotel’s warm, authentic, woodland atmosphere that has been appreciated since 1992.”
The first phase of the renovation included the rooms in the five outdoor lodges, located in the heart of a sequoia forest (that sounds magical!). The new artistic direction of the lodge is to pay tribute to the beauty of nature while celebrating many Disney characters who live in the forest.
There will be three different themes: a design inspired by Bambi (1942), a celebration of Pocahontas (1995), and a design dedicated to the Pixar Studios film Brave (2012). Guests will be able to stay in these renovated rooms in the first quarter of 2027, and the rest of the rooms and other areas of the lodge, such as the lobby, restaurants, shopping, and recreation areas, will be renovated and redesigned progressively. You can stay at the hotel during the renovation.
It seems like Disneyland Paris has been getting a lot of love lately! Their second gate has recently been renamed Disney Adventure World and has received a makeover, including a whole World of Frozen.
They also added a Rapunzel-themed ride, which lets you hop in a boat underneath the floating lanterns!
Of course, there is a bunch of new food that we got to dive into, too.
We’re so excited for these room renovations! Make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more Disney news in your life.
