For us DCL is totally worth it. We’ve cruised DCL and others. While the others may be cheaper, you get what you paid for. DCL’s food is much better all around, from snacks to quick bites and sit down. Compared to the other cruise lines, DCL blows them out of the water with service and standard amenities. The staff are friendlier, more attentive, the food is much better and more available. There’s no casino (for us, that doesn’t matter, but it might for others)
The kids Clubs are much better on DCL too. Plus there are usually more activities on DCL.
